Happy Birthday to....ME!!

Last week I turned that grand old age of 21! It feels great...I feel like such a grown up now. Joke. Birthdays that occur after age 7 are almost nonmonumental. Sure, you get all the wall posts, text messages, short phone calls, spankings, but they're not quite the same as getting those sheet cakes divided down the middle: Winnie the Pooh saying Happy 4th Birthday Courteney on one side and The Little Mermaid saying Happy 7th Birthday Kirsten on the other. Those were birthdays. Flag Day 2009 was nothing short of bringing happiness into my life though. I slept in, attended a few hours of Sunday business, ate birthday cake from Glenna, and then headed to Grandma's for an amazing cookout and present-opening ceremony surrounded by those I love the most! I missed my usual bday partner but I'm sure she was having her own little celebration on her side of the country.

Some say a picture is worth a thousand words...how many words is an entrance started by 2 words worth?what if there's a walker and fake cords?or the birthday girl herself?Katie's ready to begin my cookout!I promise she's not homeless...she's just the cutest baby in the worldclassic Grandpa moment...busy at the grillCousin Robbie is ready to eat!so are the girlsslow down there tigerI love her!but then the storm rolled in and the party had to be moved inside...so we woke Shelly up from her nap. Good morning sunshineCousin Kenny was super excited!I had a personal present opener. That's how cool and grown up I am.All done!21 big ones!

Tuellerette Concert means so many things to me...last performance, long practices, costume changes, bonding, making a poster about my life as a dancer...the last item is usually a last minute task but this year me and the cousins tried to be a little more on the ball. So Wednesday rolled around and we called up my daddy to help us with a little photo shoot. He is amazing! Even with his bum knee. Thanks dad for helping us out! The pictures turned out perfect and our posters looked awesome. Here's a sneak peek of the outcome...there's a lot of pictures on here so you can only imagine that it really is a sneak peek to how many photos he actually took, over 400! Thanks again Pops, enjoy! (sorry they're a little out of order)
